Viognier (pronounced Vee-on-yay) grapes harvested late from the Hilltops region have been transformed into a great dessert wine. It is a sweet wine with flavours of apricot, marmalade, and citrus with a complex overlay of toasty honey characters that fill your mouth. The finish is clean with refreshing acidity and residual sweetness without being cloying. It is ideal alone, with cheese or with a dessert not overly sweet. We enjoy it with lemon, almond and polenta cake.
